About The Book:

THE LAGOON, "Encounters With The Whales Of San Ignacio," is a memoir of my 22 seasons as resident naturalist in the gray whale nursery of San Ignacio Lagoon, Baja. It is a travel story that includes the natural history of Baja, her indigenous peoples, and most importantly, it is the story of the mystical connection between people and the whales that has existed for over 10,000 years.
